Clean Sweep, Tim Hooper’s latest design, was the free plan in RCM&E’s Jan 2012 issue. The stylish, forward-swept wing, 47” span racer-inspired Sportster suits an inexpensive power system – Tim used a 3542 1250Kv outrunner and a 3S 2700mAh Li-Po battery for his model. Aimed at the intermediate builder and pilot, it’s an all-balsa design (you can make your own canopy from a drinks bottle) and flies as good as it looks. We stock a wide range of balsa, ply and spruce in popular sheet and strip sizes but even so we cannot guarantee to be able to supply all the wood necessary to complete each model. So some additional purchases may be required from other modelling wood stockists if not available from Sarik Hobbies. Our Additional Wood Packs only contain balsa, ply and spruce wood in the stock sizes as used by our suppliers and do not include other materials that may be required to complete the model such as hardwoods, metals and GRP sheet.
