Handpicked, fully ripe, organic wild blueberries are sourced mainly from local orchards. Of artisan quality, Frutteto Italia Organic Wild Blueberry Jam is gently cooked at low temperature, in small batches to preserve the fresh blueberry flavour, vitamins, minerals, fibre content and aroma. Unlike the traditional way of cooking jams and conserves, which can destroy the goodness with harsh heat. Fresh blueberries are known as a superfood because they are highly nutritious and contain lots of powerful antioxidants. They are high in vitamins C and K and the mineral manganese which helps the body process cholesterol. All the fruit used is certified organic and is rigorously tested to ensure there are no residues of pesticides or of PFAS ‘forever’ chemicals.
