Description:  Moonstone is a variety of feldspar mineral, a sodium potassium aluminum silicate. The feldspar family comprises more than half of the Earth’s crust. It is found in mines all over the world, but the highest quality stones are found in Sri Lanka or Madagascar. CLEANSING AND CHARGING Be sure to cleanse your Moonstone when received, and charge with your own energy and intentions. On a Monday night, use your feather fan to waft over it the smoke of purifying incense. Use sound vibrations from a singing bowl, bells, or tingsha chimes while quickly and carefully passing through the flame of a white, gray, black, silver or purple candle. Place in a (preferably Selenite or Clear Quartz, just not any kind of metal) bowl on top of a bed of dead sea salt and leave soaking in the moonlight for at least four hours. Remove from the bowl, rinse for 30 seconds in (ideally natural, like a stream or in the rain) running water, then gently dry with a cloth (BE CAREFUL with stones that may easily scratch). Hold in your left hand (if wearing for receiving intentions) or right hand (if wearing for emitting intentions) and meditate your intentions and energy onto the stones for half an hour.
