A fabulous double strand of bright cherry red faceted Bakelite beads from the swinging Art Deco era, c1930! This sensational necklace is made of the attractive and very collectible transparent prystal variety of Bakelite. The necklace comprises of two strands, one 30" inch graduated strand, and one 21" inch strand of smaller uniform beads. The double strand of different lengths form a unique and striking design. Newly hand strung on black string, the necklace features an original Art Deco sterling silver rectangular-shaped marcasite accented clasp, adding further vintage character to this wonderful necklace!
