A beautiful vintage necklace consisting of natural amethyst gemstone beads, circa 1970's! The hand-crafted attractive necklace is made up of carved oval-shaped beads which are alternating with 4mm round amethyst beads. The carved beads slightly vary in size from 10.5mm - 14mm long x 9mm- 10.0mm wide. Carved beads are a soft mauve colour and the smaller beads are a mid-deeper purple colour ...a lovely contrast which amalgamate beautifully together! Some light internal characteristic inclusions are seen under magnification. Attached is gold-tone contemporary barrel-shaped clasp, it's concave with a corrugated pattern. The clasp may be worn at the side, front or back ... style to suit your desired taste! Traditionally a necklace, may also be worn as a triple wrap bracelet, suiting a 19cm wrist size.
