The Apple AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) represent a completely transformed audio experience, powered by the advanced H2 headphone chip. This is the first time the standard AirPods design includes Active Noise Cancellation, offering impressive sound blocking capabilities for an open-ear form factor. Audio quality is enhanced by a Custom high-excursion Apple driver and a Custom high dynamic range amplifier, delivering full-bodied bass and clear highs. The H2 chip enables flagship features such as Personalized Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking and Adaptive Audio, which automatically blends ANC and Transparency mode based on your environment. Conversation Awareness lowers media volume and enhances voices when you start speaking. The earbuds and the USB-C Charging Case are both rated IP54 dust, sweat, and water resistant, making them suitable for workouts. Battery life provides up to 4 hours of listening time with ANC enabled on a single charge (up to 5 hours with noise control off), with the case holding up to 20 hours total listening time with ANC enabled (up to 30 hours total with ANC off). A quick 5-minute charge in the case provides about 1 hour of listening time. The case also includes a built-in speaker for use with the Find My proximity view. Controls are managed by a Force Sensor (pinch control) on the stem, and the device supports hands-free Siri (just say “Siri”).
