This is a lead-free 1/2″ x 1/2″ SharkBite PEX coupler. The SharkBite PEX Barb Coupling is made of lead-free DZR brass and is an easy-to-install, low-cost solution to connect to PEX tubing. The SharkBite PEX Barb fittings are compatible with potable water distribution and hydronic heating applications. These fittings can be used in both a stainless steel clamp system and a copper crimp ring system as well (each sold separately).
