It features a high reliability 850 nm VCSEL array, PIN photodetector array, and multimode optical fiber to support an aggregate bandwidth of up to 56Gbps. It is suitable for longer reach than passive copper cables in high-speed data interconnection within data centers, enterprise networks, and high-performance computing applications. The active optical cable has been tested and programmed at the factory to ensure quality, high performance, and compatibility.
