Ganesh sukunda is a traditional oil lamp that we Nepalese use in every kind of ceremony. Particularly this sukunda is a handcrafted and has precise decoration on it. We use sukunda on different occasions such as birthday, dashain, tihar, and many more. There is a huge demand of handicraft products in the market and one of these product is sukunda. Sukunda is available during life-cycle events such as birthdays, marriages and rites of old age. This will also available at the Mha Puja ritual on the New Year’s Day of the Nepal Period.
