Laxmi sukunda is a traditional oil lamp that we Nepalese use in every kind of ceremony. Particularly this sukunda is a handcrafted and has precise decoration on it. We use sukunda on different occasions such as birthday, dashain, tihar, and many more. There is a huge demand of handicraft products in the market and one of these product is sukunda. Sukunda is available during life-cycle events such as birthdays, marriages and rites of old age. This will also available at the Mha Puja ritual on the New Year’s Day of the Nepal Period. Even before travelling or returning back home we use Sukunda to give Sagun. Besides, Laxmi sukunda is a resemblance wealth.
